abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerization initiator which does not require an additional carrier, solves the problem of homogeneous mixing, has good storage stability and high reactivity, and has excellent mechanical strength. The aim is to propose a heat-initiated curable adhesive which results in an evenly cured end product. A thermally initiated curable adhesive comprising at least two components comprises at least one polymerizable monomer and / or at least one curable resin and at least one polymerizable monomer and / or curable resin. A polymerization initiator and, if necessary, at least one filler. The polymerization initiator includes at least one organically substituted ammonium salt as an adhesive component and at least one inorganic persulfate as another adhesive component. Mixing these produces an in situ organically substituted ammonium persulfate. The type and quantity of the organically substituted ammonium salt, inorganic persulfate, polymerizable monomer and curable resin are selected such that a thermal action results in a radically polymerizable adhesive. |
