titleOfInvention Composting of cut trees, cut roots or pruned branches
abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] When a tree is cut or pruned, a large amount of branches and leaves are generated, but these are very troublesome to treat. Attempts have also been made to make compost from cutting the leaves and leaves into chips using a crusher, but wood chips are difficult to decompose by fermentation, and the core tends to remain in an undecomposed state. SOLUTION: A composting accelerating material obtained by fermenting sewage sludge containing anaerobic microorganisms capable of growing in an air-poor environment together with aerobic microorganisms is sprayed, and then a depth of 10 to 10 cm. On the sediment floor excavated and agitated to about 15 cm, the felled trees, the cutting roots or pruned branches and the composting promoting material are alternately deposited in a layered manner in an appropriate moisturizing state, One layer located below is sprayed with formic lime, and is roll-shaped into a trapezoid so that the angle of repose of the peripheral wall becomes about 60 °, and 1.5 to 20% of the height of the pile from the ground surface The fermentation was started by covering with a waterproof sheet except for the part up to about the height, and further superimposing a thick black type sheet on top of it. After the elapse of the day, it is turned over, and after about 6 months from the preparation, it is turned over again to complete the compost.
