abstract [57] [Summary] [Problem] To print a latent fingerprint vividly, does not affect thermal paper that has been difficult to detect with conventional fingerprints, and does not damage leading information other than fingerprints even on plain paper Providing a detection solution. Also provided are a method for preparing the fingerprint detection solution and a fingerprint detection method using the fingerprint detection solution. A method for preparing a fingerprint detection solution comprising mixing a nonionic surfactant in which ninhydrin is dissolved and hydrochlorofluorocarbons, hydrofluorocarbons, or hydrofluoroethers is provided. Also provided is a fingerprint detection method using the fingerprint detection solution.
