titleOfInvention Method for controlling dissolved oxygen concentration in liquid metal
abstract [PROBLEMS] To control the concentration of dissolved oxygen in a liquid metal by using a mixed conductor having oxygen permeability, thereby suppressing corrosion by a liquid metal having high corrosiveness to a structural material. A mixed conductor having oxygen ion conductivity and electron conductivity is used as a partition, one of which is immersed in a liquid metal, and the other is provided with an equilibrium oxygen partial pressure corresponding to an oxygen concentration to be controlled. It is brought into contact with a standard substance 4 for controlling oxygen concentration, which comprises a metal and an oxide thereof. The dissolved oxygen concentration in the liquid metal 3 is controlled by oxygen permeation using a difference in oxygen concentration between the liquid metal 3 and the oxygen concentration control standard substance 4 as a driving force.
