abstract (57) [Problem] To improve the production efficiency of gas hydrate by actively performing a hydration reaction between a raw material gas and water while adopting a simple structure. SOLUTION: In a gas hydrate generation method for generating a gas hydrate by reacting a raw material gas and water inside a reaction vessel 20, water is extracted from an aqueous phase L inside the reaction vessel 20, and the water is extracted. The gas is injected into the gas phase G inside the reaction vessel 20, and the raw material gas in the gas phase G is driven by using the injected water as a driving medium to promote contact with water.
