abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant having a large deodorizing effect of a so-called sulfur-based malodor containing a compound containing a sulfur element such as hydrogen sulfide as a main component, and to provide several or more types including a sulfur-based malodor component. It is an object of the present invention to provide a deodorant composition which is effective against a complex type malodor in which a malodor component is mixed. SOLUTION: This is a deodorant comprising fine-particle zinc oxide having a specific surface area within a range of 40 to 100 m 2 / g, a hydrogen sulfide capacity of 3.0 mmol / g or more, and a primary particle diameter of 0.2 μm or less. And a substance carrying a compound having a primary amino group in the molecule, a tetravalent metal phosphate, and at least one substance selected from the group consisting of hydrated zirconium oxide and the fine particle zinc oxide.
