abstract |
[PROBLEMS] To provide a method for detecting a multi-stranded nucleic acid simply and with high accuracy. The method includes a step of causing a sample nucleic acid to interact with a probe nucleic acid, and forming a hybrid multi-stranded nucleic acid by hybridization of the probe nucleic acid and the sample nucleic acid. A method for detecting luminescence produced as a result of an interaction between two or more kinds of multi-stranded nucleic acid affinity compounds, wherein two or more kinds of luminescent multi-stranded nucleic acid affinity compounds interact. A method using a compound having a chromophore having a luminescence quantum yield of 0.1 to 0.9 as the multi-stranded nucleic acid affinity compound. |
