abstract | (57) Abstract: In a magnetic brush cleaning, a carrier constituting a magnetic brush is prevented from photosensitively adhering, and mechanical stress due to rubbing of a magnetic brush on a photoreceptor is reduced. -To provide an image forming apparatus capable of maintaining high durability of a Si drum. SOLUTION: A magnetic brush cleaning is applied to an a-Si photosensitive member, a bias is applied to a magnet roller carrying the magnetic brush, and a magnetic carrier constituting the magnetic brush is substantially applied to a magnetic carrier. An image forming apparatus characterized by using a carrier having high electrical resistance and low magnetic force. |
