abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a multilayer electric double layer capacitor module having high output density and energy density per volume or weight. SOLUTION: A metal current collector foil 3 leaving an end band 33a. 3, the electrode body 31 having the electrode layer 35 formed thereon is opposed, and the separator 2 is interposed therebetween. Each end strip 3 3a is protruded from the separator 2 on the opposite sides, and metal current collector plates 37 are joined to both ends thereof. The laminated element body 40 is impregnated with a non-aqueous electrolyte and accommodated in a module case body 41 having a plurality of element chambers 45 that are partitioned independently from each other.
