abstract (57) Abstract: Provided is a card that does not suffer from the harmful effects of using an amorphous polyethylene-based sheet as a card base material, that is, cracking of embossed characters when embossed. A card base material (1) is made of a copolymer of terephthalic acid and cyclohexanedimethanol and ethylene glycol, a copolymer of terephthalic acid and isophthalic acid and ethylene glycol, or a copolymer of the same and a polycarbonate or polyether. The card has a sheet in which hollow fine particles 1a are dispersed in at least an amorphous polyester resin which is a polymer alloy with arylate, and the card base is embossed.
