(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a water-based damping material which can be suitably used as a constituent of a vibration damping composition and which exhibits excellent heat drying properties and vibration damping properties. Provide a polymerization emulsion. SOLUTION: This is a copolymer emulsion for a vibration damping material obtained by copolymerizing a monomer mixture containing an acrylic monomer as an essential component, and the copolymer emulsion for a vibration damping material is a gel measured with a toluene solvent. The fraction is 0 to 45% by weight, and the loss factor (tan δ) of the coating formed from the vibration damping composition is 0.1%. 15 or more copolymer emulsion for vibration damping material. |
