[1] A HOMO value of a wholly aromatic polyamide obtained by molecular orbital method calculation for all nitrogen atoms of a molecular model of the wholly aromatic polyamide is -8.5. A wholly aromatic polyamide having an eV or less. [2] A wholly aromatic polyamide porous film comprising the wholly aromatic polyamide of the above [1]. [3] A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery separator comprising the wholly aromatic polyamide porous film of [2]. [4] A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery including the non-aqueous electrolyte battery separator of [3].
