(57) [Problem] To provide a treatment method for safely and efficiently decomposing a hardly decomposable fluorine-based organic compound. SOLUTION: This photodecomposition method for a fluorine-based organic compound is characterized by decomposing a fluorine-based organic compound by irradiating light to an aqueous layer containing a fluorine-based organic compound and a photocatalyst in the presence of oxygen. In this case, as the photocatalyst, it is preferable to use a metal complex compound having a charge transfer absorption band between the metal and the ligand in the range from ultraviolet to visible light, and among them, a heteropolyacid compound. Fluoride ions generated by this photolysis method can reuse calcium fluoride obtained by cardification as a building material such as a building material board. |
