titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for producing iron sulphate with low residual hydrochloric acid content from steel washing waste hydrochloric acid
abstract (57) [PROBLEMS] To provide iron sulfate 1 having significantly reduced hydrochloric acid content from steel washing waste hydrochloric acid without solidification of iron sulfate monohydrate crystals. Water salt crystals are obtained. SOLUTION: From a slurry of a sulfuric acid-containing mother liquor obtained by adding sulfuric acid to steel washing waste hydrochloric acid and iron sulfate monohydrate, iron sulfate monohydrate is separated as a cake, and sulfuric acid having a concentration of 20 to 60% by weight is removed. By contacting, the residual hydrochloric acid in the cake is removed, and if necessary, a method of recycling the sulfuric acid-containing mother liquor and the washing waste sulfuric acid for waste hydrochloric acid treatment, and (i) a hydrochloric acid distillation and recovery device, (ii) A sulfuric acid concentration adjusting device for preparing sulfuric acid having a concentration of 20 to 60% by weight, (iii) iron sulfate 1 precipitated in (i) above. A crystal separation device for separating water salt as cake, (iv) a device for washing the cake with sulfuric acid having a concentration of 20 to 60% by weight, and, if necessary, a sulfuric acid-containing mother liquor separated by the crystal separation device and washed waste sulfuric acid. With a pipe for recycling the above to (i).
