A thermosensitive recording material comprising a support and a thermosensitive coloring layer containing a colorless or pale-colored leuco dye at room temperature and an organic acidic substance that reacts with the leuco dye to form a color when heated. Thermosensitive recording material containing 2,4-bis (4-hydroxyphenylsulfonyl) phenol. Dihydroxyphenyl sulfone is used as an organic acidic substance, and 4-acetylbiphenyl, dibenzyl oxalate or di (oxalate) is used as a sensitizer. -Methylbenzyl ester) together with 2,4-bis (4-hydroxyphenylsulfonyl) phenol in the heat-sensitive coloring layer further improves the thermal response and the storage stability of the image. |
