titleOfInvention Method for gene transfer into plant with improved gene transfer efficiency
abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] To improve the efficiency of gene transfer using a genetic engineering technique to practically transfer genes into trees and many other plants where gene transfer is considered difficult. A method for introducing a gene into a plant is provided. SOLUTION: As a tissue for gene introduction, a shoot having at least one end having a growth point and a base having no growth point is collected, and a growth point is obtained while maintaining the growth point at at least one end. Introduce the target gene into the base that does not grow, and differentiate the adventitious buds.
