abstract (57) [Problem] To provide an electric motor in which the number of parts is reduced and cost is reduced, and to provide an electric motor in which the degree of freedom of installation is increased. A motor body (1) includes a yoke (3) and a yoke (3). And a front bracket 4 for closing the open end of the front bracket. The front bracket 4 is formed in a cylindrical shape with a bottom from an aluminum alloy, and houses a brush holder unit 14 for holding a brush 17 therein. The motor controller 19 for controlling the motor main body 1 is formed as an electronic circuit having a communication unit, a control unit, and a driver unit, and this electronic circuit is mounted on the inner peripheral surface of the front bracket 4. Further, an electronic circuit constituting the motor controller 19 may be mounted on a brush holder.
