abstract (57) [Problem] To provide an iris authentication device capable of reducing the time required for stabilizing a narrow camera as compared with the related art and capturing an iris more reliably. Wide camera 102 with wider angle of view and wide camera 1 02 based on the position of the pupil in the image taken by A photographing direction changing unit configured to change a photographing direction of the narrow camera 101; and an authentication unit 129 that calculates a feature amount of an iris of a pupil based on an image photographed by the narrow camera 101 and performs object authentication. A direction changing unit configured to determine a position of a pupil in an image captured by the wide camera 102; An error removing means for removing an error from an actual pupil position is provided.
