abstract | (57) [PROBLEMS] To provide an infrared laser for direct plate-making that has excellent development latitude during image formation, suppresses the occurrence of defects due to scratches in the image area, and realizes uniform image reproducibility in a plane. Provided are a positive type lithographic printing plate precursor and a method for making a lithographic printing plate. SOLUTION: A lower layer containing a water-insoluble and alkali-soluble resin on a hydrophilic support, and an upper heat-sensitive layer containing a water-insoluble and alkali-soluble resin and an infrared absorbing dye and having increased solubility in an alkaline aqueous solution by heating. The The upper heat-sensitive layer contains at least two kinds of surfactants or has different surfactants in both the lower layer and the upper heat-sensitive layer, and is exposed like an image. Then, development is performed with an alkali developer. |
