titleOfInvention Display device
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a display device capable of accurately performing gradation display and binary display with a simpler configuration. An interference filter M1 includes, for example, a Fabry-Perot resonator and a bandpass filter. Thus, light having a desired wavelength is selectively transmitted by the Fabry-Perot resonator. Further, when light other than the desired wavelength is transmitted from the Fabry-Perot resonator, the light is blocked by the band-pass filter. The transmittance of light passing through the interference filter M1 can be adjusted by changing the incident angle of light by the incident angle changing unit M2.
