titleOfInvention Engine cover and manufacturing method thereof
abstract (57) An object of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing an engine cover having excellent soundproofing and vibration isolation effects. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a foamed urethane formed by foaming a two-component foamed urethane resin composition on the back surface of an engine cover 1 made of foamed resin by injection at room temperature to have the same shape as the irregularities on the outer surface of the engine. An engine cover characterized in that a resin layer 2 is provided and the urethane foam resin layer 2 portion can be attached to the surface of the engine in a pressure contact state.
