abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin for can inner surface coating which does not contain an environmental hormone such as bisphenol A and is excellent in processability and the like, and an aqueous dispersion thereof. SOLUTION: The present invention is a resin obtained by graft-polymerizing a radically polymerizable monomer having a hydrophilic group to a copolymerized polyester resin, which contains at least acrylic acid and ethyl acrylate as the radically polymerizable monomer, The weight ratio of acrylic acid to ethyl acrylate is 0.4 or less, and the copolymerized polyester resin is less than 75% by weight based on the graft polyester resin. The graft polyester resin of the present invention easily becomes a stable aqueous dispersion by neutralization with a basic compound. |
