titleOfInvention emulsifier
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a novel polymer emulsifier which is water-soluble, biodegradable or alkali-decomposable. In particular, the present invention provides an emulsifier which exhibits excellent properties as an emulsifier for emulsion polymerization and which can control the particle size of produced particles depending on the amount added. Further, the present invention provides an emulsifier capable of hydrolyzing an emulsifier remaining on the surface of the formed particle after completion of the emulsion polymerization reaction and expected to improve physical properties of the obtained latex and the like. SOLUTION: The polyaspartic acid derivative having both a hydrophilic group such as a zwitterionic structure or a carboxyl group and a hydrophobic group such as a long-chain alkyl group in the structure.
