Synthesis of N-substituted oligomers |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synthesizing poly (N-substituted amide) directly on a solid substrate support. SOLUTION: The first amine bonded to a substrate is acylated with a first submonomer acylating agent containing a leaving group capable of nucleophilic substitution by a second amine, and the acylating agent and the A substrate-bound amine is attached to the first substrate; Reacting under conditions effective to acylate the amine of formula (I), wherein the acylated amine has a leaving group thereon for nucleophilic displacement by the second amine, And the acylated amine undergoes nucleophilic substitution of the leaving group added during the acylation step with the second amine to form a poly (N-substituted amide) polymer. A method of synthesizing a poly (N-substituted amide) comprising reacting a sufficient amount of a second submonomer substituting agent comprising the second amine to form an element. |
