abstract (57) [Summary] An image recording medium capable of double-sided recording with one exposure means and two-sided recording on the image recording medium without turning over an image recording medium capable of repeatedly rewriting and recording a visible image. It is an object to provide a simple image recording apparatus. An image recording layer (4A) on which a visible image is recorded by being stimulated by irradiation of exposure light representing an image. 4B, two layers, and at least the image recording layers 4A, 4B formed at positions sandwiched between these two image recording layers 4A, 4B. When the exposure light is transmitted to 4B, the exposure light is transmitted. An image recording medium having at least a functional layer 5 that blocks an outside scene when observing a visible image recorded on the image recording layers 4A and 4B.
