PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the adsorptive power of the entire photocatalytic particles containing titanium oxide fine particles, to improve the catalytic activity of the titanium oxide fine particles as a photocatalyst and to maintain the activity thereof, and to further improve the organic activity. Provided are photocatalytic particles capable of suppressing a photodecomposition effect on a substrate and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: By using a multiple burner, a silicon compound and a titanium compound are hydrolyzed in an oxyhydrogen flame to further attach porous silica fine particles to the surface of the porous silica fine particles carrying titanium oxide fine particles. The formed photocatalytic particles having a particle size of 1 μm or less are obtained. |
