(57) Abstract: In a golf ball comprising a core and a cover, the core is formed of a rubber composition comprising polybutadiene as a base rubber and compounding an organic sulfur compound. And the amount of deflection under a 980N load is 4.0. 5.5 mm, and the cover is mainly composed of an ionomer resin composed of a Li ion neutralized ionomer resin and a Mg ion neutralized ionomer resin, and is blended with an inorganic filler having a specific gravity of 3.50 or more. And the specific gravity is 1. A golf ball formed of a cover material having a hardness of 020 to 1.110 and having a Shore D hardness of 55 to 65. The golf ball of the present invention has excellent durability and extremely high resilience. |
