abstract | (57) [Summary]nDisclosed is a process for the preparation and recovery of cyclopropylacetonitrile by a novel combination of working steps, starting with a mixture of cyclopropylmethyl halide, cyclobutyl halide and 4-halo-1-butene. The process allows for the recovery of substantially pure cyclopropylacetonitrile and cyclobutyl halide, for example, cyclopropylacetonitrile and cyclobutyl halide, each having a purity of greater than 95%. |
