titleOfInvention Apparatus and method for use in receptor-ligand and affinity tests
abstract SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a fluorescence or enzyme immunoassay for use in medical diagnostics, environmental analysis and food analysis, which is a device used in performing receptor-ligand and affinity tests. Using the present invention, various samples can be easily and effortlessly analyzed. To achieve this, a hollow plunger and a hollow cylinder made of a material at least partially transparent to light are used. A temporarily closable opening is located in the hollow cylinder so that the sample can be accommodated in the hollow cylinder with a corresponding relative movement of the hollow plunger and the hollow cylinder. At the end face of the hollow plunger, there is a porous separation layer which is sealed with a disk which is airtight and does not leak liquid inside the hollow plunger. The sealing disc is formed so as to allow a transfer operation within the hollow plunger, so that the prepared sample is removed from the hollow cylinder and the porous separation layer by the corresponding relative movement of the hollow plunger and the sealing disc. Reach the space between the disks. Subsequently, the sample is subjected to, for example, a fluorescence immunoassay or an enzyme immunoassay.
