abstract |
(57) Abstract: An intraocular lens and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. Intraocular lenses include optics and haptics that are integrally formed together. The haptics have a polyimide coating. The polyimide coating promotes fibrosis in the surrounding ocular tissue and enhances its retention after the IOL has been implanted in the eye. |
