titleOfInvention | Silane-grafted copolymer of alpha-olefin and vinyl aromatic monomer |
abstract | (57) [Summary]nA curable silylated copolymer based on an olefin copolymer comprising at least one alpha-olefin and a vinyl aromatic monomer (alkylstyrene) is used to form an olefinically unsaturated hydrolysis of an olefin copolymer in the presence of a radical generator. Prepared by reacting with possible silanes. Silylated copolymers are readily curable upon contact with water (moisture) and a silanol condensation catalyst, and are particularly useful as polymer components in sealants, caulks, adhesives, and coating formulations. |
