(57) [Summary]nCartilage repair products that induce both cell ingrowth into biodegradable materials and cell differentiation into cartilage tissue are disclosed. Such products are useful for the regeneration and / or repair of both vascular and avascular cartilage lesions, especially articular cartilage lesions, and more particularly meniscal tissue lesions such as ruptures and segmental defects. Methods for regenerating and repairing cartilage lesions using such products are also disclosed. |
