titleOfInvention Method of treating impregnated electrolytic capacitor anode
abstract (57) [Summary]nA method for treating an impregnated electrolytic capacitor anode, wherein the anode body is impregnated with a liquid electrolyte solution and a voltage is applied to the anode body, such that the current passes through and repairs the flaws in the anode body. The liquid electrolytic solution includes an organic solvent containing at least one of polyethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether, and polyethylene glycol dimethyl ether. Alternatively, the electrolytic solution contains an organic solvent and an alkali metal phosphate. Preferably, the electrolytic solution comprises both an alkali metal phosphate and an organic solvent comprising at least one of polyethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether and polyethylene glycol dimethyl ether.
