(57) Abstract A method is described for using a cherry derivative to provide a nutritional or phytotherapeutic benefit to a mammal, especially a human. Also described is a method for inhibiting oxidation in living biological material. Compositions of anthocyanins, bioflavonoids, phenolic compounds or mixtures thereof from cherries are used in these methods. |
