Use of methioninase in anti-methionine and anti-homocysteine chemotherapy |
abstract |
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides highly pure, endotoxin-free methioninase compositions prepared from natural materials and from recombinant hosts. The present invention further provides methioninase conjugated to a polymer such as polyethylene glycol. Also provided is the isolation of a nucleic acid molecule encoding methioninase, and the generation of a high expression vector comprising the nucleic acid molecule encoding methioninase. |
