abstract (57) Abstract: A carrier frequency modulated signal for evaluating n more than two photoelectric measurement signals generated by imaging the structured surface of the present invention on a spatial frequency filter and having a phase shift with respect to each other is calculated. The method of generating is such that the amplitude of the measurement signal is continuously queried at a predetermined clock rate at a predetermined clock cycle, and a sine wave signal is formed by filtering from this signal train, and the time of the query cycle is determined. This is a new feature due to the fact that the carrier frequency of the signal is determined.
