abstract | (57) Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material, wherein R 1 is a group of the formula (II) wherein n = 1, wherein n = 1, and n = 2 R 1 is unsubstituted or phenylene or naphthalene substituted with C 1 -C 4 alkyl or hydroxy; or —R 12 —X—R 13 —, and the other groups are as defined in claim 1 As described above). The compounds of formula (I) are effective as scavengers for the oxidized form of the developer (Dox scavengers), especially if they are contained in the intermediate layer between the photosensitive layers. Selected compounds of this class can also be used as additives, for example as dye stabilizers in color photographic light-sensitive materials, or as antioxidants for organic materials. |
