titleOfInvention Hyperpolarized helium-3 microbubble uptake method
abstract (57) Abstract: A method for increasing the T 1 of an injectable microbubble formulation of hyperpolarized 3 He is to introduce hyperpolarized 3 He into the volume of microbubbles held in the chamber, increase the pressure therein, 3 comprising the step of providing the loading into or Biawa move He. Thereafter, either alone or in a carrier liquid or a carrier liquid solution a limited amount of which is previously mixed with 3 He can be introduced into Biawa / 3 He into the chamber in order to reduce the tendency of the 3 He straining from the foam. Evacuation based on relevant pharmaceutical products and related containers and methods for fast mixing and supply of foam and 3 He also disclosed. Additional methods of decomposing 129 Xe gas by using foam as an accelerator have also been described.
