titleOfInvention | Improved method for the synthesis of oligonucleotides incorporating 2-aminoadenosine |
abstract | (57) [Summary]nThe present invention provides a novel method for incorporating 2-aminoadenosine and 2-aminoadenosine analogs into oligonucleotides. The halogenated adenosine is incorporated into the oligonucleotide using standard synthetic methods such as the phosphoramidite protocol. Subsequent reaction with an amine gives the desired product. The produced oligonucleotide provides stronger hybridization to its target sequence. These oligonucleotides can be compounds useful, inter alia, for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. |
