titleOfInvention Single stroke fluid metering device
abstract (57) [Summary] A container hole communicating with a fixed-rate discharge end opening (32) for forming a fixed-rate discharge end opening (32) and a fixed-rate discharge end opening (32) for receiving a fluid to be discharged in a fixed amount is provided. A single stroke fluid dispensing device (10) including a dispensing member (16). A closing cap (38) is supported above the metering discharge end opening (32) of the metering member (16) and further defines a fluid passageway (56) extending therethrough in fluid communication with the container bore. ing. A compression assembly is also provided to allow fluid to flow through the fluid passageway (56) of the closure cap (38). A seal piston assembly (62) closes and holds the cap (38) to the metering member (16). The closure cap (38) further defines a break (60) at one end of the fluid passage (56) facing the container hole. The compression assembly maintains the integrity of the fluid between the container and the closure cap (38) around the breach during metering to prevent fluid leakage into the container hole.
