(57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to an elastomer system having biocide properties, which is particularly useful for impressions, for example, impressions of teeth. It is an object of the present invention to provide an efficient system for combating microorganisms without detrimental effects on the crosslinking properties and mechanical quality of RTV2 elastomers. The system comprises a biocide that selects RTV2 silicone, preferably from SiH / SiVi polyaddition products and active chlorine precursors, preferably from N-chloramine. The system may include functional additives (silicone filler, alumina, paraffin, petrolatum oil). As for the biocide, it can even be given with an EDTA-type complexing agent, with the aid of using sterile quaternary ammonium. The present invention is useful for impression in dentistry. |
