titleOfInvention Manufacturing method of antibacterial article
abstract (57) [Summary]nA method of making an antimicrobial article, comprising: providing a substrate; generating a solution comprising a chelated polymer and metal ions; depositing the solution on the substrate; and drying the substrate. A method is described that includes the steps of forming a coated substrate by adding a reinforcing agent to the coated substrate to form an antimicrobial article. The formation of the solution comprises: (A) selecting a chelated polymer from the group consisting of polyglucosamines, ethylene acrylic acid copolymers, polycarboxylic acids, and polyamines; and (B) dissolving the chelated polymer in an acid to form an acidic solution. Producing a solution; (C) preparing an aqueous solution of the metal ion, preferably by selecting a salt of the metal ion and dissolving the salt in water; and (D) converting the aqueous solution of the metal ion into an acidic solution. And mixing. Dissolving the fortifier in water to provide a fortifier solution, treating the coated substrate with this fortifier solution, and drying the substrate to provide an antimicrobial finished product, thereby providing the toughener to the coated substrate. The addition is performed. The present invention provides a method of treating any of a variety of substrates so that the substrate is resistant to the growth of certain microorganisms.
