(57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to a cosmetically acceptable support comprising at least one dibenzoylmethane derivative and at least one oil phase and, as a stabilizer for the screening agent, an amount sufficient to thicken the oil phase. UV light, especially sun light, containing an effective amount of at least one thickening copolymer comprising at least one hydrophilic unit and an amount of at least one hydrophobic unit sufficient to partially or totally dissolve in the oil phase. It relates to a novel light-stable shielding cosmetic composition for the local protection of skin and / or hair from light. The invention also relates to a method for providing light-stable dibenzoylmethane and to the use of the composition for protecting skin and hair from the effects of ultraviolet radiation. |
