(57) [Summary] A portable temperature controller (41) useful for heating (42) the air around an aerosolized drug is described. Warming the air of the aerosol can reduce the size of the aerosol particles generated by the aerosol-producing device. Further, upon warming of the air, the size of the aerosol particles is in the range required for systemic drug delivery, independent of the surrounding conditions. Smaller particles can be more accurately targeted to different areas of the respiratory tract. |
