(57) [Summary]nA method for producing methyl isobutyl ketone from acetone and hydrogen using a catalytic distillation column reactor. The reaction takes place in the reaction zone, removing reaction products from the reaction zone and refluxing unreacted acetone. It is thus possible to continuously disrupt the equilibrium and exceed the equilibrium conversion of acetone. |
