(57) [Summary]nThe present invention relates to a DNA construct capable of efficiently producing an antimicrobial substance from a microorganism and a method for producing the same. The invention further relates to vectors useful for this DNA construct. The DNA construct according to the present invention comprises a first gene encoding the entire purF gene, a part thereof or a derivative thereof, and a second gene encoding an antimicrobial peptide. According to the present invention, an antimicrobial peptide is prepared: an expression vector comprising a DNA construct comprising the entire purF gene, a first gene encoding a part or derivative thereof, and a second gene encoding the antimicrobial peptide.
