(57) [Summary]nThe present invention provides a nano-scale device using a DNA molecule as a support structure, including an electrical circuit. DNA binding proteins are used to mask regions of DNA as a material similar to metals coating DNA. The invention includes DNA-based transistors, capacitors, inductors and diodes. The present invention also provides a method for forming an integrated circuit using a DNA molecule as a support structure. Also included are methods for forming DNA-based transistors, capacitors, inductors, and diodes. |
