titleOfInvention | Plasticized polyester for shrink film |
abstract | SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to polyester / plasticizer blends useful as heat shrinkable films or sheets for low temperature shrink wrap. The heat-shrinkable film or sheet comprises (A) 90 to 99% by weight of a polyester having a glass transition temperature of 40 to 150 ° C. and an inherent viscosity of 0.5 to 1.2 dL / g, (B) glycerol and a carbon number of 4 to comprising a blend of a plasticizer 1-10 wt% selected from C 7 -C 33 monoglycerides obtained by reacting ((a) and (a total weight to 100% of B)) of 30 fatty acid . The polyester has at least 80 mole% of a dicarboxylic acid component comprising repeating units from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid having 8 to 14 carbon atoms and at least 10 mole% of 1, based on 100 mole% of dicarboxylic acid and 100 mole% of diol. Consists of a diol component containing repeating units from 4-cyclohexanedimethanol. |
