(57) [Summary]nA color reproduction method using a laser addressable thermal transfer donor element that can be used to form images on both color proofing films and printing plates is described. Since the same transfer medium is used in each image forming process, a calibration plate and a printing plate matching each other can be generated by the direct digital address. Furthermore, a resin image of a color corresponding to the color of the ink used in the plate is formed on each plate, which is a convenient means for facilitating identification. In other words, the identity of each plate (i.e., which of the y, m, c or k separated images) is instantly evident in a visual inspection, thereby risking confusion and providing an identification mark on each plate. There is no need. |
