Absorbent product with distribution material located below storage material |
abstract |
The present invention has a final fluid storage area and a fluid distribution area located between the final storage area and a garment orientation surface of the product, wherein the fluid distribution area is in fluid communication with the final fluid storage area. The final fluid storage area thereby has (1) a capillary sorption capacity at 100 cm of at least 10 g / g (CSDC100), and (2) a capillary sorption capacity at 0 cm greater than said CSDC100 (CSDC0). And (3) having a relaxed binding liquid capacity (LBLC) as the difference between (CSDC0 and CSDC100), and (4) capillary collection when 50% of the LBLC at less than 60 cm is released. An absorbent product, such as for use in sanitary applications, including materials having a detachable release height (CSDRH50). Further, the liquid distribution layer comprises a material having a capillary sorption absorption height (CSAH30) at 30% of its maximum capacity of at least 35 cm. A particularly suitable distribution material for the present invention may be a foam material, preferably a polymer foam derived from a high internal phase water-in-oil emulsion. |
